Where To Buy Bandana In Nj

Carmilla

Yesterday afternoon gloomy rain of the past with the cover of batteries, the dog curled up on the feet and a good book in hand to relax for a couple of Oretta abundant ... finally!
E 'was the turn of "Carmilla" short of the Gothic novel writer Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu .
I chose something quickly, to finish in one go because it is always difficult for me to stop reading ...
"Carmilla" was published in 1872 (thus full Gothic romance ... ahhhhh what I like!) And above 25 years of the " Dracula" Bram Stoker of (one of my books "dark" Tracks ) and inspired a lot of horror movies ...
History is presented as a medical case actually dealt with by Dr. Hesselius: his detachment from orthodox medicine makes it effectively the first "Doctor Occult" in the history of literature.
The narrator is Laura, one of the protagonists of the novel. You go from a brief episode of childhood of the protagonist in picturesque castle alone in a thick forest in the German region of Styria, the real story that also involves the mysterious character of Carmilla.
Just outside the castle where Laura lives with her father suffers a car accident, and a girl the same age enters the life of the girl, it's Carmilla beautiful, ethereal and languid, lovely and charming girl with a strange and mysterious behavior habits ... A
magristrale LeFanu able to create the suspense and the plot just perfect for a macabre story of fear perfect for an afternoon like mine!
