This man had no peace in his earthly life but left us a legacy character, private investigator Philippe Marlowe, which for me is living a terrible indictment against all humanity! I confess that this novel has troubled me little to no depth touching with which the author denounces the evils of modern life. Hypocrisy, arrogance, corruption in a blender as the author relives his alter ego in the drama of his earthly existence and comes to tell us, indeed to urlarci in dozens of pages of extraordinary literary value its rejection to our everyday life.
's really a long, poignant farewell to this Chandler / Marlowe which should be read, reread, pondered and debated exactly how you still, centuries later, with another great alter ego of world literature: Cervantes / Don Quixote!
