Salman Rushdie? Hats off! We live in an era of globalization thrust excess: Read this compelling novel fantastorico need to rediscover civilization, worlds, cultures and habits dagl'intellettuali culpably ignored by overwork that pollute the media and Western public schools. Islam, Christianity, Renaissance, East and West: seemingly irreconcilable concepts among them crowd the pages of this novel, and slowly warm the hearts and minds of every attentive reader. Just finished the last sentence, believe me, I seemed to have climbed the mountain tops almost inaccessible: a feeling that even now makes me feel a bit 'dizzy. Rushdie is this: extremely accurate in the narrative, but also so good to involve them in its overview. What? An unconditional praise of multiculturalism, a fresco of a historical period never really thorough dagl'intellettuali above, people who go ahead by dint of vetoes, slogans fanatics, of crass ignorance unfortunately smuggled in books of history that our youth will study less and less profit!
